Miguel Carreno, ABR, CIPS, is a broker with Allen Tate, REALTORS®, in High Point, N.C., who serves as a member of NAR’s REALTOR® Safety Advisory Committee. He was the 2024 president of Triad MLS, which serves North Carolina. Carreno is originally from Lima, Peru, where he graduated from San Marcos University with a degree in accounting.
Susan Mertz is an agent with Keller Williams Capitol Properties in Washington, D.C., who is also licensed and works in St. Petersburg, Fla. Her focus is helping people buy and sell homes and investment properties in the Gulf Coast region.

About the Host
Tracey Hawkins, also known as “Tracey, the Safety Lady,” is a former real estate agent who founded her own safety education program, Safety and Security Source, in 1995. Hawkins is a content creator who teaches 12 interactive safety classes that she wrote herself. She teaches agents to stay safe and build their businesses by protecting the consumer. She teaches brokerages how to reduce liability. Hawkins has written expert safety content for REALTOR® Magazine and other national real estate publications, including RISMedia, Inman and The Close.
