Vicki Cox Golder, a REALTOR® from Tucson, AZ, was the 2010 President of the National Association of REALTORS® and is only the fifth woman to hold the office.
Cox Golder, a REALTOR® since 1976, is the owner of Vicki L. Cox & Associates, specializing in commercial, farm, and land brokerage, and holds the CRB designation.
In addition to being NAR’s President, Cox Golder has also served as the President-elect in 2009, First Vice President in 2008 and as Regional Vice President in 2005. With Cox Golder at the helm as NAR’s President, NAR secured a one-year extension for the National Flood Insurance Program, and extended FHA, Fannie Mae, and Freddie Mac loan limits to a maximum of $729,750.
Vicki Cox Golder continues to contribute and support NAR through the various offices she’s held. She is a member of the association’s Board of Directors, served on the Nominating Committee in 2011, 2012, and 2014, the Executive Committee in 2011 and 2012, the Past Presidents’ Advisory Committee in 2012, the Candidate Endorsement Work Group in 2011, the Public Advocacy Advisory Group in 2011, the Public Advocacy Advisory Group Core in 2011, and the Strategic Planning Committee in 2011. She also chaired the Political Communications committee in 1997 and the Issues Mobilization committee in 2000.
On the state and local levels, Cox Golder served as President of the Arizona Association of REALTORS® in 1994, and President of the Tucson Association of REALTORS® in 1991.
Other honors and activities include being named Arizona REALTOR of the Year in 1989, serving on the Tucson Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce Executive Committee, serving on the Arizona Real Estate Advisory Board, Chairman of the Golder Ranch Fire District Board from 1989 to present, winner of the 2010 Tyler Strout Vision Award, serving as first vice-chairman of Pima County Republican Party from 1999-2004, and serving as President of the Catalina Community Services in 2002 and 2003.
