Scott Wendl (ABR®, AHWD, C2EX, CRS, e-PRO®, SRF®), a broker-owner with over 25 years of real estate experience, is the National Association of REALTORS® 2024 Region 8 Regional Vice President, serving Iowa, Minnesota, Nebraska, North Dakota, and South Dakota.
Scott is based in Johnston, Iowa, where he leads the Scott Wendl Team at RE/MAX Precision. His market expertise, extensive network, and client-first mindset enable him to consistently surpass expectations and facilitate seamless transactions.
Scott is an active volunteer within the real estate community and is heavily involved in both the Des Moines Association of REALTORS® and the Iowa Association of REALTORS®. His extensive leadership roles include 2014 President of the Des Moines Association of REALTORS® and 2020 President of the Iowa Association of REALTORS®.
Scott is a staunch advocate for protecting homeownership and strengthening the future of the real estate profession. His commitment is reflected in his service on NAR's RPAC Major Investor Council from 2016 to 2022 and NAR's Board of Directors from 2018 to 2020. Scott holds the distinction of being an RPAC Golden R President's Circle Major Investor and was honored with the Iowa Association of REALTORS® 2011 L. Martin Lee Political Involvement Award.
Before embarking on his real estate career, Scott dedicated six years in service to the Army Reserve and National Guard during Operation Desert Storm, from 1988 to 1994. A valued member of his community, he contributes his time and efforts to support the Iowa chapter of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, the Multiple Sclerosis Society, and Parkinson's disease awareness.
