Sara Calo (ABR®, AHWD, e-PRO®, C2EX, CIPS, CRB, CRS, PMN), a REALTOR® from Mayfield Village, Ohio, is the 2024 Regional Vice President for Region 6 (Michigan and Ohio).
An industry veteran, Sara has been a licensed real estate agent since 1998. She began her real estate career as a marketing assistant to a family member in the industry. In 1998 Sara joined her sister and established a family entity, The Calo Group at Howard Hanna. Over the years, they grew the business with multiple generations of family members becoming licensees. Sara has been an office manager at the Mentor Office of the Howard Hanna Management Team since 2017.
In 2023 she was awarded the Vincent T. Aveni Lifetime Achievement Award by Ohio REALTORS®. This award is especially meaningful to her as it’s granted to a past president of the association who continually gives back to the industry and community.
Sara is a proud multiple myeloma cancer survivor. She is in her fourth year of remission after a stem cell transplant, which she describes as an ongoing journey.
