Otto Catrina (GRI, AHWD, C2EX, e-PRO®, SFR®), a REALTOR® in Castro Valley, Calif., since 2002, is the National Association of REALTORS® 2025 Regional Vice President for Region 13, serving California, Guam, and Hawaii.
At the national level, Otto serves as Federal Political Coordinator for California Congressman Eric Swalwell (District 14) and as an NAR Director. Besides his service on several committees, Otto chaired NAR’s Leadership Academy Advisory Board. He is a member of NAR’s Presidents Circle and, in 2016, was inducted into the Hall of Fame.
In addition to his state committee involvement, Otto served as 2022 California Association of REALTORS® President. He was also a state director and a key contact for former California Assembly member Bill Quirk.
At the local level, Otto was 2011 President of the Bay East Association of REALTORS®, which honored him with REALTOR® of the Year in 2007, the John A. Deadrich Distinguished Service Award in 2009, and the Outstanding Leadership Award in 2019.
Active in his community, Otto sits on the board for the Alameda County chapter of the Martin C. Kauffman 100 Club, which provides financial assistance to families of first responders who pass away in the line of duty. And he is a financial supporter of Goodness Village, a community of tiny homes built and managed by Crosswinds Church, providing transitional housing for homeless individuals in Livermore, Calif.
