As the head of inclusion and belonging for Keller Williams Realty International, Julia Lashay Israel advises, trains and coaches leaders, team members and agents to recognize and address diversity, equity and inclusion opportunities and challenges across the organization. Over the past 20 years, Isreal has trained and coached thousands of professionals and has authored numerous courses on diversity, career development and leadership. She is a founding member and past president of the Twin Cities National Association of Real Estate Brokers. She also serves on the National Association of REALTORS® Diversity Committee and numerous other real estate boards and committees.
Rafael Perez is a real estate professional, college educator and activist. He serves on the Board of the Pacific Southwest Association of REALTORS® and is a member of NAR’s Fair Housing Policy Committee. Perez is actively working to bring solutions to our housing supply crisis as a board member for the Casita Coalition, where he’s been a leader in the federal finance space as it pertains to renovation financing. Perez is an adjunct professor at Cuyamaca College, where he teaches real estate courses. Perez is a past chapter president of NAHREP San Diego (2013) and was named a Fair Housing Champion by NAR in 2022.
