The focus of this year’s AE Institute, March 16–20, Louisville, Ky., represents a shift from the association-building and management issues of the past to the issue of how associations can enhance their members’ business success.

Courses and selected instructors plan to reexamine traditional association operating models and help AEs uncover what services members really want. Sessions will also explore creative problem-solving and innovation to ensure that associations stay in step with the latest trends.

Sessions in four tracks—Association of the Future; Best in Show; Better You, Better Members; and Getting the Structure Right—-cover topics for associations of all sizes and AEs of all experience levels.

Juliet Funt, daughter of Allen Funt, creator of the “Candid Camera” television show, will deliver the Opening Session keynote address. Other highlights: Harrison Coerver on five radical changes for associations in the race for relevance and Allison Linney on “Creativity Tools to Inspire and Transform Organizations.”
