WASHINGTON (October 9, 2023) – National Association of Realtors® President Tracy Kasper issued the following statement Monday as the conflict that began in Israel on Saturday morning continues. NAR retains a bilateral partnership with the Israel Chamber of Real Estate Brokers and remains in touch with a number of members who have been impacted by the violence.

“On behalf of NAR, I’d like to extend my heartfelt condolences to all of our friends in Israel impacted by the horrific attacks that began this weekend,” Kasper, a Realtor® from Nampa, Idaho, and broker-owner of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Silverhawk Realty, said Monday. “We are heartbroken by the lives that have been lost and we pray for a swift recovery for all those who have been wounded.

“My team and I are monitoring this situation, and we will remain in close contact with our colleagues at the Israel Chamber of Real Estate Brokers. Your friends and partners in the United States are thinking of you, and we continue to offer our support however possible.”
