If you're house hunting in Florida, now might be the time to look again.

That is because new analysis shows that many of the top 10 areas where home prices are falling are in the Sunshine State.

And some are falling fast — with Sarasota County seeing the biggest drop at 7.3%.

The number of houses on the market slowly declined, which increased the difficulty of purchasing a home.

"Buyers were just simply hit with the housing affordability challenges," said Lawrence Yun of the National Association of REALTORS®. "The buying aspiration is there, it's just that the capacity is not."
