NAR Spire Mentorship Program

NAR’s Spire program helps individuals learn the fundamentals of the real estate industry, fosters education, empowers serious consideration of real estate as a career path, and cultivates the development of generational wealth through property ownership.

Spire Partner Associations are critical to the recruitment and pairing process, enabling mentors and mentees to connect locally. Each Partner Association should designate a staff member to serve as the Spire Champion and liaison to NAR Spire Staff and participants.

Become a Spire Partner Association

We appreciate your interest in joining Spire as a Partner Association. Currently, the application period to become a Partner Association is closed. The application for individuals to participate in Spire as a mentor or mentee is here.

If your association would like to support anyone looking for a career in real estate, direct them to the public-facing website, Find a Future in Real Estate. It provides education and exposure to different career paths and also features a self-paced assessment to orient the visitor to their own future in the industry.

Spire Champion Expectations and Guidelines

Serve as primary point of contact for participants and NAR Spire Staff.
Lead recruitment charge for your association.
Complete grant and invoicing requests for Spire outreach efforts.
Review applications to identify qualified candidates.
Maintain active participant list.
Communicate with NAR Spire Staff about any status changes for mentors or mentees.

Association Partners Important Dates

March 1, 2024: Association 2024 participation opens
March 14, 2024: Spire 2024 partner association information session at AEI in San Diego, CA
- AEI Spire Interest Meeting - Wednesday, March 13 from 2:15 - 3:00 PM
April 1-29, 2024: Associations designate Spire Champion and develop recruiting plan
April 29, 2024: Deadline to join Spire 2024 partner association roster
May 1 – July 31, 2024: Recruit and screen mentor/mentee candidates
August 1, 2024: Deadline to apply as a Spire 2024 mentor/mentee
August 2024: Spire Champion mentor/mentee pairing
September 2024 – October 2024: Spire 2024 mentorship term
