Mary Dykstra

Mary Dykstra (ABR®, CRS, AHWD, C2EX), a partner/owner of MKB, REALTORS® in Roanoke, Va., is NAR’s 2025 Law & Policy Liaison.

Mary served as president of the Roanoke Valley Association of REALTORS® in 2005. She served as president of the Virginia Association of REALTORS® in 2013 and was named their REALTOR® of the Year in 2014. She was appointed to the Virginia Governor’s Housing Policy Advisory Board in 2015.

At the national level, Mary served as NAR’s Regional Vice President for Region 3 (Delaware, District of Columbia, Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia) in 2017 and REALTOR® Party Community Engagement Liaison in 2018. She is in the RPAC Hall of Fame.

Mary received the Golden Halo award for 20 years of service as a Court Appointed Special Advocate for Abused and Neglected Children. She is a trustee of Roanoke’s Taubman Museum of Art. She volunteers for several weeks each year in Rwanda, working with families and children in their homes and schools.
