Twenty-five years. That’s how long REALTOR® Magazine has been honoring young members of the National Association of REALTORS® who are making a significant impact in their communities, in the industry and in the lives of their clients and customers.
Year after year, thousands of young professionals make the decision to pursue a career in real estate. Among the ambitious rising stars, these thirty have built careers full of promise. Despite their relative youth, many have been in the business five years or more—long enough to experience a pandemic, rising interest rates, shifting markets and practice changes. Thanks to the mentors who’ve helped them along the way and their own business savvy, tenacity and professionalism, they’ve been able to adapt and succeed.
Those selected for “30 Under 30” are also setting a good example for others by volunteering their time, donating money, raising awareness and even building nonprofit organizations alongside their real estate businesses. Many demonstrate how ingrained real estate agents are in their communities, putting as much effort into their philanthropic endeavors as they put into their real estate businesses.
This year’s honorees exemplify what it means to be a REALTOR®, a member of NAR. That is, a belief in private property ownership, a commitment to ethical practice and an understanding of the value of working together.
Web Choice Winner
More than 300 young real estate practitioners applied for 30 Under 30 this year. In early February, a panel of judges narrowed the field to 50 finalists. Members of the public cast a total of 27,764 votes during the weeklong Web Choice Award voting period, April 2–10. With 1,596 votes, Giselle Gaitan with @properties REMI Christie's International RE in Ann Arbor, Mich., emerged at the top as the Web Choice winner, solidifying her place in the 30 Under 30 class. The other 29 honorees were selected from the group of finalists by the judges.
