Building Wealth for All
Isaiah Hazward, 27, is all about options, which drives how he does business. To expand the homeownership path for his clients, he helps them navigate housing assistance programs like the Neighborhood Assistance Corporation of America and the District of Columbia’s Home Purchase Assistance Program. “These programs are the golden ticket to homeownership for a lot of people who would not be homeowners otherwise,” he says.
Hazward knows that real estate is one of the key components to financial security, helping to build generational wealth. That’s why he gives his all to his clients and the team of agents he helps mentor. “The more people we can help secure generational wealth through real estate, the better. It just makes life easier. It can fund college for kids or a new business venture. Real estate establishes a foundation to offer options.”
He isn’t finding these options simply to boost his business, though. Hazward is also giving back to his hometown. “I’m the cofounder of a Maryland-based nonprofit called Unfair Advantage Inc., which focuses on providing financial literacy education to children, returning citizens, and veterans. I grew up in [Prince George’s] County, and anything I can do to help continue the legacy of that county and pour into it, I’m going to do.”
