
Jon Waclawski is NAR's General Counsel and Senior Vice President, Legal, working in NAR's Washington, DC office. In this role, Jon overseas the NAR Legal Group, providing legal risk analysis and mitigation guidance across the organization as well as to key stakeholders. Jon is responsible for managing outside counsel engagements in addition to serving as NAR's principal compliance attorney. Jon joined NAR in 2017 initially as a Political Law Attorney with the Legal Group before becoming NAR's Vice President, Political Advocacy where he led strategy for NAR's federal, state and local political programs and political law compliance efforts.
Prior to NAR, Jon honed his political and legal skills in diverse, high-level positions; as in-house general counsel to a 2016 presidential candidate, as a partner in a boutique political law firm, and in various fundraising, operative and legal roles at both state and national political party committees.
Jon received his B.A. in government from Hamilton College in New York and his law degree from St. Louis University School of Law. Jon is admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court, the state bar of Wisconsin, and the District of Columbia bar.
