As a tribute to her daughter, who died in a car accident, Brown created Kristi’s Christmas, an organization that donates needed clothes, school supplies, eyeglasses, and stuffed toys to needy children. Brown involves local high school student volunteers to take the kids on shopping sprees, and works with schools to identify children who may have been overlooked by federal or state assistance programs.
