In 1999, REALTOR® Debra Griggs founded the Animal Resources of Tidewater to save pets’ lives. Through programs such as spay and neuter services, veterinary care funding for low-income families, and advocacy for animal welfare legislation, ART has significantly reduced shelter intake numbers and increased the save rates for pets in Virginia.
