Foot traffic can provide great insight into the direction of future home sales. SentriLock, LLC. provides NAR Research with monthly data on the number of showings.
Foot traffic in the area covered by the Mainstreet Organization of REALTORS® (Chicago) has been stronger in each month since April relative to the same month in 2010.
This summer’s relative strength is at least in part due to the end of the tax credit in May of 2010.
