The National Association of REALTORS® awarded the 2018 Platinum Global Achievement Program Award to the Osceola County Association of REALTORS®’s Global Alliance Committee at the REALTORS® Annual Conference & Expo in Boston, MA. The Association staff and volunteer leaders demonstrated high levels of achievement in the five evaluated categories: Business Plan, Marketing & Communication, Events/Education, Outreach and Benchmarking.

In addition to excelling in the above categories and working to fully integrate a global mindset with both their membership and staff, the OSCAR Global Alliance Committee believes in supporting global humanitarian initiatives and empowering people to recover from crisis, build better lives and transform their communities for good. In that spirit, they have adopted Mercy Corps as their official non-profit charitable organization to support. In 2017 they contributed more than $7000 towards their efforts of working to make the world a better place. They also contributed $15,300 to humanitarian relief to those re-locating to their community after Hurricane Maria devastated Puerto Rico.

In 2017, 2016, 2015 and 2014, the OSCAR Global Alliance Committee received the Platinum Achievement Award. Prior to that, they held Gold in 2013.
