The National Association of REALTORS® awarded the 2017 Platinum Global Achievement Program Award to the Houston Association of REALTORS®’s HAR International at the Annual Conference & Expo in Chicago, IL. The Association staff and volunteer leaders demonstrated high levels of achievement in the five evaluated categories: Business Plan, Marketing & Communication, Events/Education, Outreach and Benchmarking. 

In addition to excelling in the above categories, HAR International continues to think big yet, as a Mega Board of 36,000+ members, global is not lost in the shuffle. Through their research, marketing and communication they ensure that global is front and center and supported by the data they are able to provide. For example, in their monthly mailed magazine they have a featured international real estate article. On their website, they have a 5-minute REALTOR® e-link to update members about upcoming classes and events. Last but not least, they have added a feature in their magazine that highlights the 10 top countries that visit HAR.com each month. 

In 2016, 2015, 2014, 2013 and 2011 HAR International received the Platinum Achievement Award. In 2012, they received Gold.
