Alan DeStefano, a REALTOR® from Bristol, New Hampshire, was the 2019 National Association of REALTORS® liaison for Region 1, comprised of Connecticut, Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Vermont.
Alan began his real estate career in 1998 and worked in management for over 20 years. He is a broker/owner of Granite Group Realty Services and Lake Area Properties in Bristol and Plymouth. He specializes in residential real estate and property management.
At the national level, Alan has served on the NAR Board of Directors numerous times since 2013.
He is a member of the New Hampshire Association of REALTORS®, and served as its state president in 2014. He also served as a member of the NHAR Executive Committee and Board of Directors from 2005-2019.
Alan was the 2007 president of the Lakes Region Board of REALTORS®, and in 2008 and 2005, he was Lakes Region Board REALTOR® of the Year.
He has been a member of the Bristol zoning board for 10 years and served as chair of the board from 2013-2019. Alan is an avid supporter of his local community, including the Bristol Police Canine Program, Military K-9 program, the local community center and charities throughout central New Hampshire.
Alan has been married to his wife Denice for over 33 years. They have two children and two grandchildren.
