2026 Leadership Academy Application & Instructions

Leadership Academy Application Timeline:

February 13, 2025 — Application deadline. The Kaleidoscope portal closes for applications and references.
Early June — Initial application reviews are completed, and invitations to interview are sent.
June/July — Candidate interviews and selection processing.
End of July — Class of 2026 selections are finalized, and invitations are extended.

Application Submission Requirements:

Professional References

Select three (3) professional references from any of the following categories:

Current or past local and/or state association executive
Current or past local and/or state REALTOR® officer
Current or past officers from NAR’s affiliates, societies, and councils
Current or past officers from community organizations
Current or past officers from real estate multicultural organizations

Instructions for Completing the Application

1. Please answer all the questions on the application.

2. Your application must be submitted through Kaleidoscope.

3. Three (3) professional references are required with your application from the following categories:

Current or past local and/or state association executive
Current or past local and/or state REALTOR® officer
Current or past officers from NAR’s affiliates, societies, and councils
Current or past officers from community organizations
Current or past officers from real estate multicultural organizations

4. You will not be able to submit your application until all three (3) references are received.

5. You can track the submission of your references within your application in Kaleidoscope.

6. You will receive an email on your application status no later than August 15, 2025.

7. Proof of attendance at educational events or background information is not required BUT may be requested. We reserve the right to audit any or all documentation.

8. Please print a copy of your application for your records before submitting.

9. You MUST press the "submit" button at the end of the application to submit your completed application to NAR. A completed application will include the following:

Important note: Attendance at all sessions is necessary to graduate. Please review the 2026 session dates (in-person and virtual sessions) before applying.

Participants who have an unexcused absence for more than a full day of one session will be dropped from the program and encouraged to reapply. Selection for subsequent year's program cannot be guaranteed. Academy social events are for business networking, so please respect that invitations to Academy functions are intended for participants only, unless otherwise noted or approved.

The application deadline is February 13, 2025.
