REALTORS® Commitment to Excellence (C2EX) Financial Wellness Competency

The REALTORS® Commitment to Excellence (C2EX) program empowers REALTORS® to evaluate, enhance,and showcase their highest levels of professionalism. It's not a course, class, or designation—it's an endorsement that REALTORS® can promote when serving clients or other members. More than 140,000 REALTORS® have made the commitment to their ongoing professional journey.

REALTORS® must navigate complicated income tax structures, business planning needs, and retirement policies. The C2EX Committee and the NAR Board of Directors recognized the need to support REALTORS® in these areas, approving a brand-new financial wellness competency.

In partnering with the Center for REALTOR® Financial Wellness, this new competency will empower REALTORS® to assess and enhance their own financial profile, giving them the knowledge and confidence to focus on the mission of better serving their clients.

This is the first competency to be added to the REALTORS® Commitment to Excellence (C2EX) program since its launch in 2018.

Look for the new financial wellness competency to roll out as part of the program's fifth anniversary campaign and app launch in November 2023.
