Nina Wiseman

Nina Wiseman, an agent with Listing Leaders in Valparaiso, Ind., is passionate about helping other real estate professionals improve their personal safety and often speaks about her own experience being attacked at a vacant property. Wiseman, who served as president of the Greater Northwest Indiana Association of REALTORS® in 2021, is a member of NAR’s Safety Advisory Committee. Advocating for greater safety measures for the real estate community is the shining achievement of her career, she says.

Dave Legaz

Dave Legaz is a former New York police sergeant who combines his two decades of law enforcement experience and 25 years of real estate practice to teach agents and brokers internationally how to reduce their risk of being targeted by a predator. As a graduate of the NAR Leadership Academy, Legaz petitioned NAR to create a Safety Advisory Committee and was appointed its first chairperson in 2020. He served as president of the New York State Association of REALTORS® in 2021 and co-authored the book Safe Selling: A Practical Guide for Preventing Crime without Sacrificing the Sale.
